Day 13

PIRATE'S DAY

That day brought us a real enjoyment.  Children were pirates and did their best to find the treasures.  We followed the map and found the hints which led to the treasures.

This  day at the camp is one of the most favourite for pupils. 

I'm happy that we managed to organize fantastic "pirate quest" for them. And one of the greatest things was that we have attracted  pupils of 4 teams to the quest. 

So, I'll tell you in details.. 

There were 4 teams playing this game. And to make the quest clearer for children each team had its color.

                

There were 10 "stations" with various  tasks. Each station had its name in Ukrainian. Our little pirates were realy excited.

Speaking about tasks, we tried to connect them with English language and physical activity.

The first station - "starting point"- was at the school door . Each team told their names and mottos. And got the task to make a puzzle.

At each station pupils got  or found hints where to go next. 

Then there were "fishing station ". Teams had to take one fish from the bench and name in English the picture glued to each fish. Pupils have done this task perfectly.

Also one of the tasks was to sing a song in English.

Another task connected with English was picture crossword, but each team had its own.

One more interesting task for teams... Pupils answered some simple questions about pirates' life.

Physical activity is very important for children, so some tasks were connected with it. 

  

These tasks were new and unusual for our pupils.

And finally the most awaited moment of the quest...
