Day 8

Today we had Ukrainian Day.

It was really great day, all pupils enjoyed it.

So, first we worked with the team "Rainbow" . We learned how to say and write the name of our country in English. Then we painted the flag and the coat of arms of Ukraine. 

Then we watched rather educational and interesting videos about famous sights in Ukraine.

And children ascertained that our country is very picturesque.

With the pupils of the team "Non stop kids" we made a "patriotic" poster of quilling. And during this activity we watched a video about sights in Kyiv. And children liked video about Ukrainian national clothes and traditions.

 Of course we had some breaks for active games. 

Pupils are usually fond of such activities.

The team "Friendship" also took part in the Ukrainians' day. We decided to make a collage. Boys and girls worked hard to display their best feelings. Team work united us. So, you can see the results of our work.

And of course there was a great game "Crossword". Team "Rainbow" and "Friendship" tried to guess the words. Pupils had to remind some English words and to use their skills. We had a lot of fun! 

And as usually we had the winners!
